RECLAIMED MILLSTONES

In old times people used millstones to grind grains, nuts rhizomes and other vegetable food products for consumption. The consist of stationary stone cylinder upon which a smaller stone cylinder rotates. Smaller ones were operated by two people often used for household and the larger ones for community or commercial use were operated by livestock to rotate the cylinder. The reclaimed millstone are very often used as Fengshui landscaping elements such as round fountains or circular stepping stones for gardens. Fengshui says that “ Round Shape ” is the symbol of wealth and harmony, it generates energy and keeps it moving in and out and it also induces a watery feel to home which generates more prosperity.
